The Friends Group have established a Butterfly Garden is an area of the Tarn that had been neglected and overgrown. During the course of a year we cleared the area and planted a wildflower meadow, hedging plants that would attract wildlife, and added plants that would be attractive to butterflies. We also added bird nesting boxes, a wildlife stack and bee homes. This is now a lovely quiet area which is very popular with the public. |
